I think it is important to have it in this book because this glossary has the definition of many important words that have to do with this book.

The glossary is for the people who have not heared of the paranormal or of the many complicated words of the paranormal tools.

It is also important to have a glossary because you don't see these complicated words in every book, so you need a glossary to help you figure them out.

Right again! Some of the vocabulary in "The Screaming Staircase" was quite tricky. I was glad to have a glossary in the back of the book for when I got stumped on a word.
